How to play
- Swipe from the ball up toward the goal. The direction sets the side, and the longer you swipe, the higher the ball goes. A fast swipe gives a hard shot, and a curve in your swipe adds spin.
- If you would rather aim calmly, tap right in the goal where you want the ball to go. Under New game you can also pick Crosshair, where you tap once to aim and once for power.
- Try a chip shot: tap the Chip button or double tap the ball. The ball floats softly toward the middle and goes in if the goalkeeper dives.
- When your opponent shoots, you are the goalkeeper. Watch the kicker's run up, then swipe or tap toward one of the four corners. If you stay put, you cover the middle.
- Goals and saves earn coins. Spend them in the shop under New game on new jerseys and balls.
Tips for the penalty shootout
- Shoot close to the post. The goalkeeper cannot reach a ball tucked into the top corner, but aim too wide and it goes past the post.
- Wait to dive until the kicker strikes the ball. Dive too early on Hard and the kicker sees it and shoots the other way.
- The kicker often leans toward the side he is shooting to. On Easy, a small circle also shows where the shot is headed.
- On Hard, there is wind. Check the wind arrow at the top and aim a little into the wind.
